Will find au pairs for families from 16 countries.
Au pairs are young adults between the ages of 18 and 26 who come to the United States and live as an extended member of their host family. Au pairs provide up to 45 hours per week of childcare in exchange for room, board, a small weekly stipend and up to $500 toward 6 credits at an accredited educational institution.
Child care cannot exceed 45 hours per week.
Au pair receives one weekend off per month and one and a half days off per week.
Au pair has driver’s license, speaks English, has child care experience.
No heavy housework.
Must have own room (no sharing of room with child)
Must have access to transportation to school, either public transit or car.
An au pair’s original program runs for either 12 months or for 3 months as part of the summer-only program. An extension option is available to extend an au pair’s original term by 6, 9 or 12 months.
