Introduction to Hebrew Calligraphy

This class will teach you about the millennia-old art of Hebrew calligraphy. Learn about the duties and responsibilities of a sofer(et), the tools modern scribes use, and how to form the letters used to write Torah scrolls. This is a hands-on class where students will try their hand at calligraphy using chisel markers and paper.
